Man arrested in Pottsboro arson case

GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- State Fire Marshals have been called in to investigate a possible arson north of Pottsboro. The remains of the house on Cedar Oak were still smoldering Monday after fire destroyed the house late Friday night.

Preston Volunteer Fire Department officials say there were several explosions coming from inside the home when they arrived.

Officials suspect they were chemical explosions.

Grayson County Sheriff's investigators arrested Johnny Henderson, 45, of Pottsboro, on Saturday. He stands accused of injury to the elderly and arson.

This was after Henderson gave a statement on the incident.

State investigators are expected to arrive later in the week.
