ARDMORE, Okla. -- Police say an Ardmore man they found prowling around a tire store was after more than auto parts.

Police say around five o’clock Friday morning, they received a call about someone inside RT’s Tire Shop on Washington Street.

When they arrived they say they found Michael Eades, 30, prying open the cash register.

Officers arrested Eades, who is now in the county jail charged with second degree burglary.

You know I think way back when I was in school. We never had gang problems or a lot of robbers in Ardmore or Lone Grove. My wife went to Ardmore and I Lone Grove and things was so great back then. Then here comes some DUMB*** person saying it is child abuse to paddle student and here come that DUMB*** laws and you people know what it was and look what has happened to kids that are grown up today. Send them all to the Army but before they go send them down a 100 man paddle line so they will, every time they set down, remember what got them to this point in life and see they have to change. That is my thinking on this.

I don't think that anything would teach this guy a lesson. He needs to be in the army to learn discipline and respect. That is the only place that people like this will learn anything.

They should sentence this cretin to work in the tire shop. Without access to the cash register, of course. That would teach him a lesson about working for your money in a way far different from sitting in a cell for a few months.
