BOSWELL, Okla. -- A shooting Friday night leaves one man in critical condition and another behind bars.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations tells us the shooting happened just before 10:00 in the parking lot of Randy's 1-Stop convenience store. Officials say 19-year-old Justin Hastings was leaving the store when 21-year-old Bryan Casey Belvin jumped out of his vehicle and opened fire, hitting Hastings several times.
Belvin then fled the scene, but turned himself in a few hours later to the Choctaw County Sheriffs Office. OSBI tells Belvin was booked in on charges of shooting with intent to kill. Now we've been told, the two men do have a history of arguing.
Hastings was taken by medical helicopter to Parkland Hospital in Dallas. At last check he was listed in critical condition.
