TISHOMINGO, Okla. -- Tishomingo Police arrested a juvenile Wednesday morning in connection to a string of burglaries that happened back in August. The boy’s mother has also been taken into custody.
Tishomingo Police say they arrested Kathy Bates and her son for possession of stolen property on Wednesday morning. Police tell us they were able to identify the juvenile from surveillance video from the Johnston County Farm Bureau, which police say was burglarized Wednesday night by the same suspect.
Around 8:30 Wednesday morning, police executed a search warrant at 308 East Main Street where police say they found several missing items from a string of burglaries that happened two months ago.
Authorities say they still believe others were involved in those burglaries.
The juvenile is facing burglary and possession of stolen property charges.
