Overturned semi slows morning traffic on 69/75

CALERA, OK -- An overturned semi had traffic backed up for sometime Thursday morning. It happened just before five o’clock Thursday morning on Highway 69/75 about one mile south of Calera.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the driver was traveling northbound when he ran off the road to the right and tried to overcorrect, causing his tires to dig into the road and then flipping his vehicle over.

We're told the driver was carrying acidic acid. However, we're told by OHP there was no spill.

The driver was taken to Texoma Medical Center for minor injuries.

Traffic was back up and running within a few hours.
