Some Johnston County residents still without power Wednesday after severe weather

DURANT, Okla. -- The Lone Star Conference Softball Tournament could have a new home here in Texoma. Durant city leaders approved a resolution on Thursday afternoon in support of moving the tournament to the Multi-Sports complex.
They say hosting the tournament would bring in thousands of tourism dollars to the area and increase Durant’s presence in the region.
Southeastern Oklahoma State University athletic department officials say representatives from the conference will now tour the complex and present their finding to the rest of the coaches.
No word yet on when a decision will be reached.
