HUGO, OK -- The court date for an Oklahoma State Senator has been continued a second time.

Jeff Rabon was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday on the Choctaw County misdemeanor docket but the case was continued to the November date.

He was originally scheduled to appear in September but was moved to October pending blood test results.

Those results were returned earlier this month showing he had twice the legal limit of alcohol in his blood when police say he caused a three-car traffic accident in august.

No word yet on why the case was continued again.

We'll continue to follow this story.

This is the Otis Cambell of Hugo. If I didn't know better I'd think we were in Mayberry.

Don't be so quick to jump to any conclusions.Perhaps his Oklahoma Highway Patrol Chauffer is unavailable to drive him to court.

SUPRISE, SUPRISE!!! How many more times will the case get postponed? What are they waiting for, his term to be over? This is what most of the locals expected to happen. Will Jeff Rabon get any discipline for his drunken actions? Most of us don't think so. Thank you to KXII for the continued coverage. The other local stations aren't saying a word. These types of stories need to be followed, what message is this sending to our children; drinking, driving & endangering the lives of others is acceptable.
