OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Friday was field trip day for some Durant students. State Senator from Durant, Jay Paul Gumm, talked to three groups from Durant Intermediate School on Friday at the Capitol in Oklahoma City.

Thanks to some high-tech tactics, the tour was broadcast live over the Internet directly from the Senate Chamber Floor.

Students and teachers had the chance to ask Senator Gumm questions about the Capitol and the lawmaking process.

The students even took an official vote on whether pepperoni pizza is ‘the best pizza in the world’.

The live feed is courtesy of the Oklahoma Senate's website.

By the way, pepperoni pizza won as ‘the best pizza in the world’.
