Clean-up set for Saturday in Grayson Co.

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- If you feel like doing some fall cleaning, Saturday is the day to get it done. Grayson County is holding a fall clean-up on Saturday for residents in Precinct One.

Volunteers will accept household garbage including appliances, furniture, and scrap metal. They'll even unload your car!

Volunteers will not accept any hazardous materials or large tractor tires, but they will take up to four car tires per family.

When: November 3rd, 2007 8am-2:30pm
Where: Pct 01 Road & Bridge Maint. Barn
1312 East Hwy 1417 in Sherman
(Across from the Elks Lodge)

In an effort to keep our county roads clean, Grayson County Commissioner, Johnny Waldrip, would like to invite the residents of Precinct One to our Fall Clean-Up.

We cannot accept any hazardous materials such as paint, oil,
chemicals, car batteries etc.

We will accept up to 4 tires. This does not include large/tractor tires.

We will accept all household garbage, including appliances, furniture, scrap
metal, etc.

    Great job Commissioner Waldrip! Why dont all of Grayson County Commissioners have a clean up day like this?
