GAINESVILLE, Tex. -- Construction is set to begin on the heavily traveled FM 1360 next week. The purpose of the construction is to improve safety for students and other drivers heading to and from the new Gainesville High School.
The road will be widened to two 12-foot lanes with 10-foot shoulders on each side.
Construction is set to begin Monday, November 12th, and is scheduled to be completed by mid-August of 2008 before the school year begins.
