Another toy recall, this time “Aqua Dots.” The Chinese-made toys contain a chemical which, if swallowed, can lead to a coma or seizures, according to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The aqua dots toys, which made Wal-Mart stores' list of top 12 Christmas toys have been sold at major US retail stores since April. There are four million of the toys being recalled nationwide.
"This toxin can cause you to become comatose from which you may either stop breathing or obstruct your airway and cause death," said Naren Gunja, with the Poisons Information Centre.
Consumers should immediately take the recalled toys away from children.
