LOVE COUNTY, OK – There has now been another illegal horse racing bust in Thackerville. This is the second time in four months the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission has come down on an illegal horse racing track in Love County.
Authorities served a search warrant at the Rancho El Nevado Race Track in Thackerville on Friday morning. They say this is not connected to the raid that happened back in July.
Authorities say they confiscated a substantial amount of property from the race track but they would not say what exactly was taken. No arrest were made.
However they do say the evidence is substantial enough for them to determine illegal horse racing had been taking place on the property.
Officials would not comment on how they found out about the illegal race track, but they did say it's part of a state-wide crack down on illegal horse racing.
