DALLAS -- During one of the busiest travel weeks of the year, there are major delays Monday morning at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
Controllers are playing catch-up at DFW after a 30-minute radio outage at both of the airport's control towers Monday morning stopped departures and disrupted arrivals at the nation's third-busiest airport.
DFW spokesman Ken Capps says the problems have been repaired at the airport’s east and west side towers, but residual flight delays of 30 minutes to an hour are expected.
The Federal Aviation Administration says the outage affected both incoming and outgoing flights.
