3 injured in Fannin Co. accident

FANNIN COUNTY, Tex. -- Three people are in the hospital after an early morning crash on Highway 273 near Bonham in Fannin County. The accident happened around 8 a.m. Monday morning.

Witnesses told police that a truck hydroplaned, hit a culvert, and then flipped over.

At last check, two passengers were in stable condition at Texoma Medical Center, and authorities say a six-year-old passenger is at Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth being treated for a fractured skull.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

    How does somebody HYDROPLANE when we haven't had any rain? Did they run over a fire hydrant?
