Preliminary hearing rescheduled again in Ardmore murder case

ARDMORE, Okla. -- The preliminary hearing in the trials of three men accused of beating Steven Paul Goddard to death has been rescheduled for the third time this month. According to the Carter County Court Clerk’s Office, Judge Charles Tate has moved the preliminary hearing for Deondre Maytubby, Bruce Booker, and Jason Scallion, to November 29th.

Their preliminary hearing was set for 2 p.m. Tuesday after it was originally rescheduled on November 9th.

The Carter County District Attorney’s Office charged all three men with first degree murder charges for beating Steven Paul Goddard to death in July.

No word on why the hearing was rescheduled.
