ARDMORE, Okla. -- Nearly two weeks after a shooting in Ardmore that killed one man, the suspect is finally in the Carter County Jail.

Darrell Madden spent the past two weeks in an Oklahoma City hospital recovering from a gunshot wound he sustained in a shootout with Ardmore Police.

He was shot in the arm while attempting to elude police by trying to carjack bystanders back on November 6th. He's accused of killing Bradley Qualls that night at the Huntington Falls Apartments in Ardmore.

Madden is also being investigated for another murder that happened near Oklahoma City.

A hearing is scheduled for Monday morning.

I have a great idea, send this guy to Texas, where I believe they still have the Death Penalty, AND PUT HIM ON DEATH ROW!!! If he is convicted and found guilty, get rid of him. It's absolutely ridiculous that we let CONVICTED MURDERS just rot in jail and use up our taxes. HOW IS THAT JUSTICE???!!!! Jail time sometimes is not enough in my opinion.
