Friday night kicks off the beginning of the season for the Loy Lake Holiday Lights. Beginning Friday night at 5:30, you and your family can drive through and see thousands of Christmas lights on display. Even if you have seen the lights before, there's a new addition every year.

This year they're debuting a new nativity scene. Officials say that the lights display attracts people from all around.

"You'd be surprised how many people come through here, just driving down the highway, people driving will see it, turn, and come back and go through it, I think it's great for the community," Precinct 3 Commissioner Jackie Crisp says.

You can stop by to see the lights anytime from from sundown until 10 p.m. The lights will be on display until December 28th.

The new Nativity scene is very nice. It would be really nice if people would read the sign at the entrance and turn off their headlights when driving through the park. Just remember to turn them back on after you make your donation and get your lollipops!
