Tom Bean police are still going through items they recovered on a Wednesday night drug bust.
Police say they received a call that afternoon about suspicious activity at the home of Mickey Joe Griffis in the 100 block of Bois d'Arc in Tom Bean.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a wide range of drugs and drug paraphernalia, including large quantities of marijuana and methamphetamines. In addition, police officers say they collected 37 guns.
Griffis was taken to a local hospital and officials say they suspect the guns were in exchange for drugs.
No charges have been filed yet against Griffis.
