LOVE CO., OK - One person is dead and another in serious condition after an accident Sunday afternoon in Love County. State troopers say it happened about 2:30 Sunday about one half mile north of Thackerville.

OHP says an Acura did not make an 'S' curve on the road and overcorrected at high speeds coming around the turn. The driver, 18-year-old Justin Ray Joiner of Thackerville died at the scene. He was pinned inside the car for about 30 minutes...

The passenger, 15-year-old Aaron Vondrak of Thackerville, was thrown from the vehicle.

He was flown to OU Medical Center in serious condition. Troopers say neither one was wearing a seatbelt.
