GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- A fire investigation is underway north of Dorchester in Grayson County after numerous bales of hay were said to be intentionally set on fire.
There are no suspects as of yet but there is an investigation going on as to who did this. According to the Grayson County Sheriff's Office, more than 2,000 bales of hay were intentionally set on fire.
Witnesses said they saw someone setting the hay on fire in the areas of Old Dorchester Road, Ford Road, Laughlin Road and Preston Meadows Road.
The hay is still burning Thursday evening. Property foreman Jerry Smith says it is all a loss. The estimated value of the hay is about $10,000, Smith said.
