MARSHALL COUNTY, Okla. -- Two people are facing animal cruelty charges after dead dogs were found in their yard.
Marshall County authorities found two dogs that were dead and five malnourished dogs a week ago at the residence of Jennifer Lopez, 24, and William Steven Johnson, 23.
Neighbors told authorities about what was going on at the residence. Once deputies arrived, they found no signs of food or water for the animals.
Lopez was arrested in Tishomingo. Johnson turned himself in, and both were booked into the Marshall County Jail but have since posted bond.
Lopez and Johnson have their preliminary hearing set for December 21st.
