DENISON, Tex. -- The weather could be to blame for a major accident on U.S. Highway 75 on Wednesday. Denison Police say a Ford Mustang was merging onto U.S. 75 when the driver lost control and spun out.

That car collided with another vehicle before ending up in a ditch.

Two people were taken to the hospital.

The driver of the other car was treated and released.

The driver of the mustang has a broken leg and facial injuries.

He was cited for failing to control his speed.

The driver of the Mustang is a native Texan if that matters!

I actually know one of the people injured in this accident and you people are disrespecting him and also using his accident to entertain yourselves! how sick. as for texas and oklahoma drivers, who gives a flip where you are from? you can drive just as badly if you from Texas or from Oklahoma. If Texas has such a problem with out of state drivers it should close it's interstate highways to take care of your out of state shoppers and then try to complain. as for all of you, have some respect and stop acting childish with all of your "i'm better than you and your state sucks" crap! This is under comments about this wreck, not state bashing!

Okies are notorious for too slow driving, Texans for too fast. Both are dangerous. But the elderly scare me the most. I feel safer on a weekend night with the drunks vs. weekday during the sunlight hours with the elderly.

To anonymous THANK YOU! I couldn't have said it better. I wasn't taking up for Oklahoma drivers. I wasn't talking bad about Texas drivers. I was simply stating that there are bad drivers EVERYWHERE. Some people are COMPLETE morons no matter where they are from!!!!!

I hear you "Texasdriver". Grow up people and learn to drive. Stop looking at license plates and pay attention to the road. Your so concerned about who is from where and who does what, WHO CARES? There are other options you know, and if you don't like it why don't you guys just pack up and move somewhere else (like another country). This was an accident and you idiots get on here and the first thing you always have to say is who is from where. Unbelieveable!!!! There are way to many BIGGER ISSUES other than the stupid lil ones that you are ALWAYS bringing up. Pack it up and get out and let the rest of us that actually like where we live and appreciate it deal with it. If all you can do is complain about stupid lil things, then get out!!!!

If everyone would stop looking at license plates and keep their eyes on the road and road signs there would be less accidents.
