DENTON COUNTY, Tex. -- Authorities in Denton County are asking for your help in identifying a woman killed in a hit and run accident eleven years ago. The woman known only to authorities as ‘Jane Doe’ has no record of finger prints or DNA in any national databases.
She was killed when a truck hit her while she was walking along the Interstate 35 frontage road at Ganzer Road. Authorities released a digitally edited picture on Thursday hoping that someone could help identify the woman.
"We're hoping that if we get this picture out there some one will call in so we can get a positive identification for this lady," said Troy Taylor of the Denton County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Officials believe the woman could be from Oklahoma.
