DENTON COUNTY, Tex. -- Authorities in Denton County are asking for your help in identifying a woman killed in a hit and run accident eleven years ago. The woman known only to authorities as ‘Jane Doe’ has no record of finger prints or DNA in any national databases.

She was killed when a truck hit her while she was walking along the Interstate 35 frontage road at Ganzer Road. Authorities released a digitally edited picture on Thursday hoping that someone could help identify the woman.

"We're hoping that if we get this picture out there some one will call in so we can get a positive identification for this lady," said Troy Taylor of the Denton County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Officials believe the woman could be from Oklahoma.

§ 19.04. MANSLAUGHTER. (a) A person commits an offense if he recklessly causes the death of an individual. RECKLESS IS: - Falure to control your speed (§ 545.351(c)5), for the conditions. Crossing the "FOG LINE" while "NOT LOOKING where you are GOING", due to a "conscious decision to charge traffic and NOT to control speed". A driver MUST judge their RAMP behavior to enter traffic prior to the "END OF THE RAMP", a driver can not just go charging into traffic if traffic is heavy, so while signaling their intent (turn-signal) driver must slow down to expose driver's intention to LAWFUL DRIVERS on the highway to allow ramp traffic to enter the highway while ramp vehicle remains in the lawful ramp area. RECKLESS FAILURE TO CONTROL SPEED RESULTING IN DEATH. Drivers stay on your side of the FOG LINE unless you are looking where you are going and know it is safe to deviate from the roadway. http://www.kxii.com/home/headlines/12390411.html

It's not bickering, "A Real Man is DEAD"... just like this story, but not 11 years late. The SHERMAN POLICE REPORT states that the dually Pickup was riding the FOG LINE (and we don't have the dead man's story). That means that the Truck's Mirror and Dual Wheel & Cover of the Truck were BEYOND the FOG LINE (obviously where the man was walking). Don't believe me, look at the SHERMAN POLICE REPORT for yourself, I posted earlier.

Getting past the little bickering that has nothing to do with this story..... Why is it that neither artist rendering looks like the other? Could we get a consistant sketch artist?

Texoma road & service roads are not safe. Bubba does not care and the police just seem to back bubba up. To MC of Sherman: Just becauase its not something you see on the news repeatedly does not mean that we are ''disposing'' of anyone. It takes time to sort these things out. It seems like you are trying to blame the driver of the vechile solely. There are such things as accidents. It is very sad what happen, And the man that was killed was identified, maybe you need to work on your research. And why was a man walking down highway 75 after dark it is hard to see. According to you we all just need to driver 25. Hear that everyone, MC of Sherman just changed the speed limit, hurry and check before it falls off of the story boards. Because we all know that is the only reliable source of information that we have.
