December 23 and 24 are known as the deadliest days on the road. A lot of people are traveling. So take the opportunity to talk to your teenage driver early about the rules of the road as a refresher.
Driving is a privilege, not a right. Shawn Hamilton with All State Insurance in Sherman said, "Kids need to understand that. If they're not safe, they could lose that privilege."
All State Insurance has a contract located on its website at www.allstate.com. It's a promise between teens and their parents that they will drive safely, responsibly, and with extra caution.
Open the lines of communication, Hamilton says. You'll be glad you did.
