While it may be a little late for a white Christmas, there was some snowfall north of the Red River on Wednesday. Residents in Ardmore saw some snowfall Wednesday afternoon.

While the flurries did not last long in Ardmore, officials in Garvin and Pontotoc Counties reported at least 1.5 inches of snow.

Troopers from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol say road conditions from the Arbuckle Mountains to Pauls Valley are still slushy, which means bridges could freeze over later Wednesday night.

"If the temperature gets to 32 or below, there’s a good possibility roads will become slick and become very hazardous," OHP trooper Colby Murray says.

Emergency officials are urging drivers to use caution if you plan to travel past the Arbuckles.
