Bryan County courtroom being renovated

BRYAN COUNTY, OK -- A Bryan County is courtroom receiving a bit of a facelift. Court officials say the Supreme Court approved the renovations to District Judge Mark Campbell's courtroom.

The State of Oklahoma will pay the $25,000 bill. Officials say crews are taking out old paneling and adding sheetrock and new carpet and tile.

They say this is the first time since 1969 the room has been upgraded.

The project is expected to take another week to complete.

    reckon they`ll ever renovate the jail so the prisoners will stay there ???

    Good to know they got their priorities straight. Doesnt the jail need a "renovation" ????
