DENISON, TX -- Some local kids rang in the New Year a little early. The Texoma Children’s Museum held their ‘New Years at Noon’ event today. Kids of all ages had their faces painted, played on the pirate ship, and celebrated 2008.

Museum directors say most kids fall asleep before midnight, so this was a way for them to join in the party.

The Museum's official grand opening is this Thursday, January 3rd.

Kudos to the organizers and supporters of the childrens museum. A very positive addition to downtown Denison!
