MARSHALL COUNTY, Okla. -- Developers from Pointe Vista say the sale deadline of Texoma State Park in Marshall County has been extended for another month.
The sale between the state’s Land Commisson Office and Pointe Vista was expected to have been completed by December 31. Pointe Vista developer Scott Fischer says both sides are eager to close the deal. However, title and survey issues are hampering the process.
Developers from Pointe Vista say those issues should be cleared by the end of January, when developers say they will start moving dirt on the $750 million project.
