ADA, Okla. (AP) - An Ada man accused of using his 20-month-old daughter as a human shield to avoid being tased by a security guard is facing a felony charge of child endangerment.
Authorities say 33-year-old Wendell Jason Mann was charged last week in Pontotoc County District Court.
Police were called to the Lazer Zone Family Fun Center on December 21st after Mann's wife reported he had assaulted her.
A security guard at the facility says he also was assaulted by Mann and that when he attempted to use a Taser weapon to subdue him, Mann held up his young daughter to avoid being tased.
