SHERMAN, Tex. -- The Grayson County Sheriff's Office is auctioning off a car. It’s a 2003, seven-series BMW that was seized during a traffic stop.

After going through the court system, the car was awarded to the county attorney who turned it over to the sheriff's office.

The car is now up for auction and the current bid is at $25,000.

Bidding ends on January 16th.

I guess I wouldn't like the cops either if I had been arrested as many times as you have been Sean! And yes,I know who you are.

Man, talk about conspiracy theories. People are paranoid. Just because they are auctioning off some pimp's previous ride don't make the County Communist. I think Sean in Amsterdam needs to smoke another one. Love, peace, and chicken grease dude.

Why are you guys worried about the rights of drug dealers. There is a SERIOUS problem in this county. (Yes that is county, not country). There are more meth labs here than in several other counties currounding us. As far as I am concerned they can seize anything the drug dealers have in their posession. And to POd - Most drug dealers are set up in RENTED property, not something they own,

this is just to make the taxpayers think that every drug dealer drives a BMW.which is so untrue.do not be fooled this is a 1 time thing!!and the car never even come from grayson county the guy was on his way back to some nothern metro city, not denison or sherman!!!your police are not doing anything but their job ,nothing more !!

Just like the S.O.'s office to show off a BMW,you never hear about anything like this any other time. This is a joint effort of The D.A.'s office as well.Where are all the other vehicles seized?I think they are all just jealous they don't have one. This is the communist system run in Grayson County. What about all the siezed money there, tell us where it is at!!!Maybe in the D.A.'s pocket. This is an issue, tell us where the money is and goes. Peace, Sean

why doesn't the money go to the county? I am sure we could use the money somewhere.

why dont they give the money to charity? I can think of a lot of people that need the money worse than the grayson county sheriffs office. I just dont understand where they get off seizing peoples property. if drugs were involved seize the drugs, arrest them, and make them pay the fine. taking their property and profiting from the sale is more criminal than possesing drugs if you ask me.
