LAMAR COUNTY, TX -- A 14-year-old-boy is in custody charged with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault.

Authorities say the charges come after a one-car rollover accident on December 2 near Tigertown.

The accident left one minor dead and two other minors injured.

Officials say the boy is being held at the Greenville Juvenile Home. They say no trial date has been set but that the boy will not be tried as an adult.

He should be tried as an adult. He is old enough to know EXACTLY what he was doing. He somehow got someone to get him the alcohol and then tried to drive a car. Who's car was it and how did a 14 yr old kid get the keys???

Yeah of course he wont be tried as an adult, that's the way of our lovely justice system we have, just slap him on the wrist and let him go. It's really sickening the way people get away with things, maybe if our justice system would do something to these people, we probably wouldn't have half of the crime and problems that we have today
