I was at the wreck and I stayed with Brandon until the ambulance took him away. It was not his fault and he was not guilty of alcohol/drugs. Brandon I pray for you everyday, you left that scene with a permanent scar that no one can take away. May God help you to find some sort of peace in your heart. --- I am also praying daily for your girlfriends family.

I would like to see this article corrected, or at least updated. Brandon Evans did not cause this accident, but for some reason, many people believe he did. He had the right of way, and did his best to prevent the accident. I would like to make this known, because it is very stressful for the families of Brandon and Shea to hear "Oh, the boyfriend is going to be arrested, right?" This is untrue, and very hurtful.

WE ARE PRAYING FOR ALL THE FAMILIES THAT SUFFERED A LOSS IN THIS ACCIDENT, WHICH SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED. MY DAUGHTER WAS FRIENDS WITH SHEA, THEY WERE IN SCHOOL TOGEATHER, SHE MADE MY DAUGHTER FEEL WELCOME WHEN SHE FIRST STARTED AT LONE GROVE HIGH, SHE WAS A VERY SWEET GIRL. WE HOPE EVERYONE WILL LISTEN WHEN SOMEONE SAYS DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE !!!!!!!!!!!!

Because one person decided to drink while driving, ignored a stop sign, and was not paying attention my son's 18-year old girlfriend is dead and his life is permanently changed. He was obeying all traffic laws and yet at the young age of 19 he still must suffer this grief. I thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask only that you please drive safely.

I go to and from lake all the time by way of 120 & thru Pottsboro. Have made it a habit to say a prayer passing where I have known of accidents/deaths. I find myself praying all the way thru now. How sad. Another dangerous road is Hwy 11 to Tom Bean. Both look safe and well maintained. What's the deal?

I know this may sound a little cold , but here it goes. I think the video and/or pictures should be used to educate people on obeying traffic laws. I see people all the time , running stop signs , tailgating etc... Slow down , stop when required to . You just might live another day .
