ARDMORE, Okla. - After stealing more than $14,000 dollars, a manager of an Ardmore auto parts store is facing embezzlement charges.

Ardmore Police arrested the now former manager of the O'Reilly's Parts Store, Rex Layton, 52, for withholding the stores deposits for the past three months

Police arrested Layton on Wednesday night.

Investigators say they were notified by O'Reilly’s Theft Prevention that Layton had been keeping some of the store’s profits.

Ardmore investigators say Layton admitted to the crime during his arrest. He is currently in the Carter County Jail.
