GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- The Grayson County Airport has a new name-- The North Texas Regional Airport. Now it will have a new sign.

In a board meeting Thursday, officials decided to accept a $15,000 grant from Landmark Bank that will pay for 80 to 90 percent of the sign, depending on which design they choose.

"We’re real excited. We see Grayson County Airport, now North Texas Regional Airport, as real economic boost for our communities. So we're happy to participate in this way," Randy Hensarling at Landmark Bank said.

Before the sign can be finalized, the commissioner's court must approve the plan. That is expected to happen later this month.
