Voter registration ends Friday in Oklahoma
If you live in Oklahoma, Friday, January 11 is the deadline to register to vote in the state's upcoming presidential primary.
Oklahoma's presidential primary is set for February 5. Since both parties have closed primaries, a voter must be registered with a party affiliation to vote in the primary. If you are registered independent, you will not be allowed to vote.
Even if you are not yet 18 years of age, you can register if you will be 18 by or on Election Day, and if you are attending college in another state but are registered in the sooner state, you can vote absentee.
