House fire in Bryan County

BRYAN CO., OK - A two-story home catches fire in Bryan County. The house is located in the 1600 block of Ranchette Road, north of Highway 70.

West Bryan County Fire Chief Matt Green says a Lakewood firefighter was driving by and noticed smoke coming from a two-story home.

West Bryan County responded with eleven firefighters, Lakewood VFD also assisted. Crews were able to quickly extinguish the flames and salvage the home. It's unoccupied and appears to be undergoing renovations.

The Oklahoma state Fire Marshall has been called in to investigate. There is no word on what started the fire.
