COAL COUNTY, Okla. -- Oklahoma State Bureau investigators say one man is in custody for Friday morning's homicide in Coal County.

Coal County Sheriff Roy Deck says autopsy results confirmed that Lonnie Allen Matthews, 38, was murdered by blunt force trauma to the head. Matthews was found Friday morning dead in the back seat of his car on Polk Road just north of Colgate.

Sheriff’s deputies and the OSBI investigated the case Saturday and then executed a search warrant.

McCurtain County Sheriff’s deputies located the suspect Saturday night. They arrested Santiago "Sonny" Albarado, Jr. Albarado is now being held in McCurtain County Jail on a pending charge of homicide.

Sheriff Deck says he is proud of the work that Coal County deputies and OSBI investigators put in to make a quick arrest.

Officials say Matthews is from Spokane Washington, but had been living in Coal County for about a month.

I was friends with Lonnie, Linda, and little Lonnie when I lived in Spokane. I grieved when I heard of Linda's death just last October, and I am utterly heartbroken to hear that little Lonnie's Dad is now gone, too, just a few months later. I spent a lot of time with that family, and had some of the best laughs of my life when with any or all 3 of them. My heart and prayers go out to Lonnie, Linda, and little Lonnie's loved ones. I pray that your mourning be bearable, and that the Lord bless you with some extra strength to make it through these hard times. I pray for a just conviction to fall upon the person or people responsible for this heinous crime. To anyone who may know more than than they are letting on: it wasn't just one man's life that was destroyed. He was someone's father, someone's son, someone's brother, someone's uncle, someone's friend. Everyone that knew and loved Lonnie, and everyone still in little Lonnie's life was affected terribly by this. Live with that.

It's apparent that he was involved in some fashion the OK police are not going to arrest him just because. Lonnie was friend of my family and like a 2nd dad to my son Tyler, Lonnie will be missed deeply. We are very glad to know that he'll be coming home to rest with Linda. Little Lonnie you know we love and miss you and can't wait for you to come home. Our thoughts and prays go to the family.

Alexandria: Thank you. I've been doing my best to stay strong. Cursing your husband doesn't do me any good. I have heard mention of Arthurs name. Of course, I can't say what I know or what the rumors are. If your husband is innocent then I pray for you and am sympathetic to your pain. It sounds like you should be scared of this man. Why haven't they locked him up? Are they waiting for more evidence? Alexandria, you are a strong woman as well, I can't imagine being in your shoes, speaking to me. What a freaking nightmare, I can't believe that this is happening.

Lori, I would like to start by telling you that you are a very strong person and I can tell just by the way that you express your self cause if that was my brother that this happend to I would not handle it like you are.But your brother did not deserveto die!Right now my husband is being held behind bars for a crime that he did not do the man that killed your brother is still walking around the streets of Coalgate Oklahoma and really I am scared for my own life I dont even stay at my own home anymore cause I am scared to be by myself. But all we can do is pray every night before we go to bed that justice is served and that the man(ARTHUR BUCKLEY) that killed your brother is put behind bars and stays there for the rest of his life.

So people are posting ugly things when we don't have proof that this man did it huh? Well why would we have reason to think that anyone else did it but this man if this is what we have been told by the police? He is in prison waiting to be charged with murder and they don't have any proof that he is guilty? Give me a break. If he did do this (like we have been told) then we can say anything we please if it makes us feel better. We are deeply heartbroken. I would not wish a death like that upon my worst enemy. I wish whoever did this to my family the most painful and excruciating death ever!

Alexandrea, thank you for writing to me. I'm sure it was very difficult. I do hope that the whole truth comes and that every person pays for their role in Lonnie's murder. My purpose for commenting is not to "damm" anyone but to praise my brother and to let people know how exceptional he was. I saw my brother today. We are not able to have an open casket because of how badly he was beaten. It was the last time that I will ever be able to hold my brother again.
