ARDMORE, Okla. – A watering hole known as 'The Players Bar' in Ardmore will soon be coming down to make way for a new bank. ‘Players’ is located off Myall and South Commerce in Ardmore.

American National Bank will soon occupy where the establishment currently stands. They are set to construct a full service 3,500-square foot institution sometime in late summer 2008.

The current building has been around since the 1960's. The building has been under several names including ‘The Top Hat’ and ‘The Foolish Pleasure’ before it was even known as ‘Players’.

Officials from American National Bank say demolition is set to happen between now and February 1.
