KINGSTON, Okla. -- Police arrested a murder suspect wanted in Arizona in downtown Kingston just after 5 o’clock Friday afternoon.
Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation authorities say William Charles Vach was taken into custody as he left a bank at Highway 70 and Maytubby.
Vach was wanted for first degree murder. Authorities say Vach killed an infant in 2001 in Arizona.
OSBI says a cold-case homicide unit in phoenix asked Oklahoma authorities to look for Vach two months ago.
Kingston police and OSBI agents took Vach into custody without incident.
Vach is being held in the Marshall County Jail.
