ARDMORE, Okla. -- Fire investigators are trying to determine what caused an early morning house fire on Monday in Ardmore.

Kelli Ritter and her boyfriend were at home sleeping when the blaze broke out around 4:30 Monday morning on Fourth Avenue Southwest near 'M' Street.

The damage was kept to the two front rooms of the house.

No one was hurt, but two dogs were lost in the fire.

"We just woke up in the middle of the night, and the living room was on fire. We ran back to the room to get the phone to call the fire department. Then we came outside and it just went as fast as it could," fire victim Kelli Ritter said.

The people who lived in that home are staying with neighbors until the damage can be repaired.
