ARDMORE, Okla. -- A fast food restaurant in Ardmore was burglarized Monday night. Ardmore Police say the Burger King on West Broadway was broken into.

A restaurant employee discovered cash was missing and notified authorities. Police are not releasing how much money was actually taken, but they do say the store’s safe was broken into. From that safe, an unknown amount of cash and three bank deposit books were stolen

Ardmore investigators say they are investigating the matter.

Sounds like an inside job to me. Why would regular thiefs be interested in bank deposit books? Any time you hear about robberies they usually want cold hard cash.

Why doesn't the police ever release how much money or things were taken? See they said there not releasing but, an UNKNOWN amount of cash stolen? Don't you ppl have carems? You should let the public see it to see if they reconze them. Plus, the code thing they should ask who all knows it & if possible why not take finger prints off the safe the window? To lower the list, alos whatever they were wearing make all the employees/managers wear it to see if they look like the veido

I have a comment on the burglary of burger king they think that it was a inside job because of the fact that the back drieve thru window was broken from the inside and u cant get into the safe without a managers code.
