PURCELL, Okla. (AP) - An FBI agent testifies that a man suspected of killing a 10-year-old Purcell girl was distraught after being taken into custody.

Agent Gary Johnson testified during a preliminary hearing in McClain County District Court for Kevin Underwood, who is charged with murder in the April 12th, 2006, death of Jamie Rose Bolin.

Testimony in the hearing will continue Thursday morning.

Much of Wednesday's testimony focused on the night that authorities
took Underwood into custody.

His defense attorneys maintain that FBI agents and state investigators repeatedly violated Underwood's rights during the early part of the investigation into the girl's death.

Jamie's body was found by police in a plastic tub in Underwood's apartment. Authorities have said Underwood killed the girl as part
of a cannibalism plot.

He no longer had any rights after taking that little girl's life. In fact he no longer had rights the second after he struck the first blow. And if it were my child he murdered, I would have lost my rights the first day the freak was in court.

So Josh - you think I should be concerned that a baby killer was distraught or that his lawyer is protesting that the baby killer's rights were supposedly violated. What are you - related to the baby killer? You are THE only one concerned about an animal that would harm an innocent child. I might be dumb, in your opinion, but I have a conscience. I think he should, as the Wilson resident says, be put in a plastic tub and thrown into the middle of a prison yard with a sign on him letting the others know what he did – then he’d KNOW distraught. Of course, you might think that is dumb, too. Also, where did you learn grammar? You are a disgrace to Texans, in my opinion. karensopinion@gmail.com
