SHERMAN, Tex. -- Attorneys for computer giant Dell are in federal court in Sherman defending a patent-infringement lawsuit.

Dell originally filed the suit back in 2003 against Lucent Technologies.

Lucent attorney's later filed a counter suit.

Both are defending their rights to use touch-screen technology.

Court documents say both companies are claiming patent infringement.

The trial began in Judge Richard Schell's court last week and is expected to last at least a month.
