DENISON, Tex. -- After an evacuation on Wednesday, alarms went off again on Thursday morning at Denison High School.

Students and teachers were forced back into the cold twice Thursday morning before classes started.

The same thing happened on Wednesday during school hours.

Officials say they are false alarms. They think it’s a malfunction with the system because they cannot find anywhere in the building where the alarm was activated.

The district is now working with the alarm company.

actually we were only "forced" once on Thursday. The second time the alarm went off the teachers told us to stay in.

you guys are doing great with the weather because if i hadn't seen the news this morning then i would have got on the bus and probably got hurt because about 7:20 we were picking up students and we had to go around a turn and we slid and almost wrecked but thank goodness the bus driver watched you guys and drove carefully. thank you again you are doing great.

I hope they get this problem fixed before it becomes a "boy who cried wolf" situation. I would hate to think that if a real fire was to break out the alarm would be ingored because of the recent false alarms. Get to work Denison and keep your students safe!!
