McKINNEY, TX -- Jury selection is set to begin Monday in the trial of a man accused of offering a would-be hit man $2,500 to kill his pregnant wife.
Albert Jackson Sterling, II, is charged with solicitation of capital murder. The supposed hit man, who has a criminal record, told police he had a change of heart and warned sterling's wife and told her to call police.
If found guilty, Sterling, 39, faces two life sentences-- one for his wife, and one for his unborn son.
