SHERMAN, Tex. -- After a busy weekend for Sherman Police, they are now looking for a man accused of attempting to rob at least 3 gas stations.

It started late Saturday night at the chevron on FM 1417 and West Taylor. Authorities say the man was able to get away with money from that location but wasn't so successful a few hours later.

According to police reports, a white man wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and baseball hat entered a store and told the clerk to hand over all the money in the register. The suspect left and headed toward the Shadow Mountain Village Trailer Homes.

Police believe the same man tried to rob the Circle K on South Sam Rayburn on Sunday night, and later attempted another robbery at the Shell Station at Highway 75 and Lamberth.

"No one was hurt as a result of the robberies. The individual did flee on foot. We don't have a car description at this point and time to put out," Sherman Police Sgt. Bruce Dawsey said.

Sherman Police are looking for a white man, who is about six feet tall, with a thin build.
