CARTER COUNTY, Okla. -- A man whom authorities believe is linked to the homicide of 26-year old Brandi Baird was in court Tuesday morning.

Nathan Langley, 32, made his initial appearance at the Carter County Courthouse. Langley was arrested last month at his Healdton residence for firearm and drug possession charges.

Carter County investigators say Langley had a gun and drugs in his possession.

Baird’s body was found behind an oil lease in Healdton last December.

Investigators are still trying to determine the circumstances that led to Baird’s death.

Sure they know. Why do you think they're dragging their feet. doesn't mean it was HIM, though. Nice patsy...ex-con, doper...who are they covering up for? If she'd died of an OD, they'd blast that all over the paper.

Nathan is not the one who dumped my daughter. Also the gun and drugs were not my daughters, they were Nathan's so no no-one can be witness to it being her gun. We will find out who killed her.

It could have been prescription drugs. And someone could be witness as to it being her gun.

HOW do they know the drugs belong to brandi or the gun.you know with her being a drugie the gun was not in her name.I don't think they have any ideal who killed her.
