GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- Bid packages for the Highway 289 extension project are complete and ready to be sent out. Grayson County officials say the projected is expected to cost just over $40 million.
Starting Thursday, the packages, which consist of thousands of pages, will be sent out to at least ten different contractors around the state.
Officials say the project will go to one contractor only and will be sublet after that.
The extension goes from Highway 56 North to Highway 120 in Pottsboro.
