VAN ALSTYNE, Tex. -- It’s being called one of the biggest meth busts in Van Alstyne's history. Police seized four and a half pounds of meth worth about $200,000 during a traffic stop on Highway 75 Northbound at FM 121 on Thursday.

They also seized nearly $3,000 in cash. Officers were assisted by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Sherman Police K-9.

All three individuals in the van were arrested and charged with first degree felonies.

No names are being released, but police tell us all three are residents of Arkansas. Two of them are illegal citizens.

Sandy, your just stupid.Oh, you must think we go out and bust dopers(probably you) just because we want their money and get the dope for ourselves. Are you really that stupid, here's a suggestion for you Sandy:stop smokin dope and take care of your kids cause I know you probably have at least 5 and use all your money to buy more dope.To the people in AR saying that these guys are "good people" and are just taking care of their families.I wish I had your address cause your probably a ILLEGAL ALIEN too.If they were good people as you say, then they would have a respectable job and not haulin dope.Just think about where that dope may have ended up,in the hands of your kids.STOP DOIN DOPE AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR KIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
