GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- The North Texas Regional Airport is one step closer to getting a new sign. Landmark Bank has donated the money to pay for the sign. On Thursday, the board approved the design.
Mike Shahan, the director of the airport, says they are waiting until February 25 to unveil it to the public.
“It will completely replace the existing sign. The body will look like aircraft metal. It will be three dimensional and lit up,” Shahan said.
Airport officials hope to have the new sign up by the end or March or early April.
